
Requirements and Approved Courses
A total of 18 credits must be selected from the course list below, with a minimum of 12 credits from the Science Category, and up to 6 credits from the Interdisciplinary Category. At least 9 credits must be above the 100-level, and a minimum of 6 of those credits must be at the 300-level or higher. Use the Requirements reference below as a guide.

Credit Distribution

Discipline Diversity
No more than 2 courses from any single department. Up to 6 credits may come from the
Interdisciplinary Perspective category. Students may apply no more than 6 credits from their major toward the minor.
Science Focus
A minimum of 12 credits (4 courses) must come from the designated Science category courses, including at least one of the three Foundational courses (FC).
